Frequently Asked Questions
What is Personalization?
Personalization is a powerful tool that enables you to select the content, presentation, and functionality of the portal according to your unique needs and preferences. The Personalization interface allows you to create your own personal pages, which will be available from the portal every time you login.
What is a personal page?
Personal pages are custom portal pages that you create, name, and populate with content that you choose. As you create and save them, they appear within the "My Services" section of the left-hand navigation.
While the content of the portal's "Home" page and Community pages is predetermined and constant, personal pages are customizable to serve unique needs or interests that you have. Personalization options allow you to choose the gears that will determine the content of your personal pages.
How do I create a personal page?
An authenticated VIP user can create his own portal pages by accessing the wizard, which is available from the "Customize" link under the "My Services" section of the left-hand navigation.
How many personal pages can I create?
You are able to create up to six personal pages.
What can I name my personal page?
You can give a personal page any name up to 11 characters long.
I am having trouble with certain Personalization functions. My browser does not accept cookies. What can I do?
Older browser versions do not support the portal's full functionality. Try updating your browser version.
